We want to choose to prioritize God’s work on earth in everything we do.
That’s why at Allison Park Church, we have chose this name for our annual missions campaign. This name represents what we want to be as a church, and as individuals and families. We choose to prioritize God’s work on earth in everything we do.
A Message From Pastor Jeff Leake:
When we choose to give together toward proj- ects and causes like these, we make an enor- mous difference in people’s lives all around the world. I am blessed to be able to visit, hear the stories, and get the reports of what our giving is doing. Many of you who have taken a mission trip have come back with the same excitement.
I’ll never forget standing in a village in Tanzania, watching children dance around a water well that APC helped to provide.
Last year, I visited five churches in Philadelphia that APC helped to plant over the years. One family came up to me and said, “If you had not had the vision for this church, my family would not have found Jesus!”
Many times I have stood on the platform at an SOS Festival. Johannes Amrtizer was calling thou- sands forward to receive Jesus as their savior. Tears streamed down my face as I realized that APC’s giving has played a role in making that moment happen.
Every month, I meet with Pastor Jordan Kolarik, and he nearly explodes with joy in sharing stories about what God is doing at the University of Pitts- burgh through Chi Alpha.
Or how about watching hundreds of individuals every month, take home supplemental groceries through our three APC food banks (Butler, Hamp- ton, and North Side.)
This year we are excited to launch our Kingdom Builders 2024 projects. The goal this year is to raise $1.2 million for projects here in Western Pennsylva- nia and around the world.
What makes this process so powerful is that we are all acting together in faith, obedience, and generosity. Each of us looks at our financial ca- pacity, considers what we want to do to make an impact on the needs of the world, and seeks God for our assignment and giving.
And as we all do what God asks us to do some- thing truly miraculous takes place. The synergy of our collective obedience and faith produc- es something together that we could never do alone. Please know that every dollar counts! Your giving is key to this movement of generosity. We appreciate you for your willingness to sacrifice, save, and give.
One day, when we get to heaven, we will finally be able to see the full reach of the transforma- tion that our partnership has been able to ignite. Please prayerfully read over this brochure and begin to ask God what he would have you give toward Kingdom Builders in 2024.
